"Happy with sales and installation, Jason made sure I had the equipment that I needed and was quick to answer any questions I had before and during the process. Install crew was great, arrived on time, were courteous and considerate of myself and my home and they cleaned up the job site very well. I did have to get them to come back out because one unit wasn't cooling, turns out it was an electrical problem and was a super quick fix. Scheduling was easy and convenient. I would recommend Komfort Air to anyone needing HVAC service or equipment, I think the Lennox brand is efficient and effective."

I've been the one that has to ask for quotes (which were one line emails), when we were misquoted the wrong equipment (which we couldn't tell because the quote was so none descriptive), the installation had to be delayed and I still had to repeatedly ask for quotes and to get the installation arranged. I still have received the receipt for when I paid by credit card at time of installation and even requested that it be sent to me the following week but still have received it. When your people are on-site, no problems and very good workers but the customer service when trying to get something quoted, installed, and properly documented payment, is horrendous."

I was also told the parts to repair it were no longer produced and thus I required a new unit which was only from 2014 also maintenanced by killingsworth and then Comfort Air on a recurring schedule since it was purchased. In 2016 our other unit broke and i was upsold a Coleman by killingsworth as a high end unit, but the salesman we spoke with here said they are poor quality which reduced my trust. I purchased a new lennox from your company at a cost of 10.5k and it was installed sloppy and needed a second service after installation. Im disappointed that (1) there is inconsistency in the messages on what units are higest quality from sales staff, (2) that the recurring maintenance we have didnt catch any issue sooner or allow me to receive a discount, and (3) on the sloppy install."

This is my first encounter with Komfort Air, and I find them to take advantage of the customers discomfort situation due to a/c failure. The exorbitant charge is very disappointing. I am requesting a refund of 422-60 = 362 for the price of capacitor. Full complaint: 6/23/2022 A/C not cooling air, blower running! Called Komfort Air, talked with Srgio. got premium membership (no initial/recurring charge), Called for technician to come and check-out the system. Mike came at ~8:15 pm, found capacitor bad, charged 422 for capacitor (even after 15% discount!) and 82 for labor. Did not know typical cost of capacitor, so said ok. Later on 6/30, googled price of capacitor. Was surprised to see it range from 15 60 (price of same capacitor at Amazon: 60!). Found Angi article saying range of technician to do diagnosis, capacitor changeout, check coolant pressure, etc. is 70 - 250! "This is the third time the A/C service has been done by your company. The first time was poor, the second time was perfect, and this time was poor. For the most part he did the service. He checked the pressures and the voltage. He removed the side panels of the A/C unit, sprayed some water in from the hose and took out some leaves with his hand. He reinstalled the side panels and then started spraying the condenser from the outside though the vented front panel. At this point I questioned why he is not cleaning the condenser. He said it wasnt that dirty and it is not good to put cleaner on it all the time. Really!!! The manager who was with him said nothing to me when I looked at him. So he ended up rinsing the condenser with plain water back into the A/C unit. So I got a condenser rinse and a quick hand cleaning of the interior. I ended up removing the side panels and shop vacuumed the remaining debris inside the unit. I also sprayed the condenser with the appropriate non caustic cleaner and cleaned it outward. Did I get my moneys worth, I think not. The last time it was done it was done correctly and will only continue to do business with your company if that technician does my work."

"I asked them to check the water heater. Technician told me we had a safety issue based on the black soot Above the quick release valve. Told me my water heater should be replaced. He told me that this was an indicator of the venting not working properly. Quoted me a price of $2000 for install and replacement of venting. Installer came today and told me that he did not have the venting parts, and nobody told him that the venting needed replacing. Venting replacement is on the invoice that I was given. Since the water heater is 15 years old I will have it replaced anyway, but the technician told me that the black dust near the quick release valve had nothing to do with venting, and he checked the top of the water heater and said there is no venting issue. If the water heater was only four or five years old, I would be really upset that I got up sold based on a lie. The technician said he has had another customer that was told the same thing and its simply not true that this is an indication of bad venting. While I feel somewhat cheated or lied to, the water heater probably needs replacing anyways so we will move forward, but I cant help feeling like I was sold something that was not true and then Im being charge for venting that a) doesnt need replacing and b) Isnt getting replaced after all. The installer even apologized that I was told this information because its not true. Would be happy to discuss this further with someone there. Would like to reconcile the total cost since Im not having venting replaced."

"The condensate drain was installed incorrectly on a brand new unit. The duct work was also installed incorrectly and is currently pooling water. Since the unit was not draining properly, the OEM float switch was defective and transformer blew since it sat in water. The technician came out and said someone should be intouch on Monday (this is Saturday). I heard from no one and placed a call on Wednesday. It turns out nothing at that time was ordered. The next scheduled visit was to install the new parts, including the OEM part. My scheduled time was 12-2 with an email confirmation. No one showed up or called. I called in at 5:00. From there they sent out the same technician with half of the parts. He was told to try and use a stock float switch to see if it fits and works. The stock part did not fit and he said by code I do not need it. Also I was told by dispatch that commercial techs do not give courtesy calls, only residential technicians do that. I have had an awful experience."

"We have been a service plan customer for 18 years. We never had any issues until last year when your technician failed to clean the coils on our outside units. We had another issue this year where the tech told us our upstairs unit needed to be replaced and it wasn't working which caused us to have an inspection done by our home warranty company. When they inspected, they found two different components wiring disconnected. I spoke with Sierra, who has been helpful, and she sent out Trevor (Sr. tech) he also found everything in working order and acknowledged that he had issues with the original techs inspection and everything was in working order. I have asked for a refund of our fee we had to pay the home warranty company for an inspection that wasn't necessary. I asked Sierra about this and to date have received no response. I am so disappointed."
