Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to sponsor the Midlands Ride for Kids last month. This is the second year that Midland Air has participated in this wonderful event that benefits the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit funding research into childhood brain tumors. The raised money funds free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial help for families.
Midland Air Service Experts raised $1000 for this incredible cause and the nationwide event has collected over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been helping with the event since 2014 and her father’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids each year.
“My dad’s motorcycle club rides every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for this incredible cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The philanthropic motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t exactly a motorcycle group. “We just do it to help the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air adores being involved in their community and sponsoring wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To read more about how you can get involved and raise awareness for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, check out their site.
